Requirements for execution

Articles are subjected to scientific peer-review, according to which a decision on publication is approved. Rejected articles are not sent back and are not reviewed repeatedly.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to make editorial amendments without deforming content or to send an article for improvement. Articles sent for improvement must be sent back to the editorial office within three days after receiving.

The receipt day of an article is considered to be the date of receiving a final version of the article by the editorial office.

Articles which don’t meet the requirements are not reviewed.

 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. An article is designed using Word for Windows.

2. Times New Roman, size – 14, line spacing – 1.5.

3. Margins: top – 2 cm, bottom – 2 cm, left – 3 cm, right – 1.5 cm.

4. Paragraph indention – 1.25 cm.

5. Text justification – across the width.

6. Provided materials shall not be secured from any amendments (it is not necessary to use passwords etc.).

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. It is considered original manuscripts, reviews and other types of articles (10 – 20 pages), and short notes in the volume from 4 to 6 pages.

2. The editorial office doesn’t accept articles that have been published in other journals and sent for publication to several journals at the same time, as well as papers that are a product of processed before-published articles and don’t have a scientific novelty or scholarly elaboration of well-known material.

3. If an article contains materials, which are the intellectual property of several organizations and have not been published, the author shall get publication permission from each organization and send it together with the article.

4. Languages – Ukrainian and English 

5. References are indicated in the square brackets within the text with the indication of page number of the relevant source, e.g. [3, p. 234] or [2, p. 35; 8, p. 234].

6. International System of Units (SI) shall be used in articles.

7. The volume of illustrated materials (diagrams, figures, images etc.) shall be minimum. Images shall be hard. Drawing figures and diagrams shall be clear and maximally free from letterings, which are moved towards a graphic’s title. The letterings that are part of the image must have the same size and the same style. Drawings should be provided in separate files in the following formats: TIFF, WMF, PCX, bmp, COR5, Excel, Adobe Photoshop.

 

MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE

Article shall have the following scheme:

1) UDC;

2) information about an author (-s) in Ukrainian and English indicating author’s initials and surname, scientific degree and academic rank, post, affiliation (full address), e-mail of each co-author;

3) article title in Ukrainian and English (in italics);

4) abstract and keywords in Ukrainian and English. The abstract is executed according to the requirements of scientometric databases as a structured summary and shall have the following elements: purpose, materials and research methods, scientific novelty, conclusions. Abstract volume (for each one) – at least 1800 characters including spaces. Total of keywords is a minimum of 3 and not more than 7;

5) problem statement in general and its relation to important scientific and practical tasks;

6) analysis of recent research and publications, which initiated problem solution and the author relied on;

7) detachment of previously unresolved parts – the article is devoted to – of the general problem;

8) statement of the article purpose (task statement);

9) presentation of the main material, including full substantiation of scientific findings;

10) conclusions and prospects for further research;

11) Bibliography is presented at the close of the article in the order of mentioning sources and must meet the available standards of bibliographic entry (see: National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302: 2015 “Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General principles and rules of composition”);

12) References (transliteration and English translation of literature list meeting the requirements of APA (American Psychological Association)).
