Abstract

Connection of the publication with planned research projects. This work is a fragment of the planned research work of the Department of surgical dentistry implantology and Periodontology: “Development of surgical methods of treatment and rehabilitation in patients with inflammatory and destructive diseases and traumatic injuries of the maxillofacial region”, state registration No. 012U109664. the article is part of the dissertation work: “Justification of prevention of complications of dental implantation at the stage of primary fixation of the implant”. Dental implantation is one of the most effective methods of restoring missing elements of the tooth rows and restoring their functional and aesthetic integrity. However, despite the successes achieved in dental implantation, the problems of reducing the number of complications after the installation of implants and increasing their service life remain relevant. Failures of dental implantation may be associated with late diagnosis of factors that determine early disturbances of osseointegration processes around installed implants. Materials and methods. The study included 45 patients aged 42 to 63 years without somatic pathology and severe allergic anamnesis. The control group consisted of 24 people. Results. The degree of stability of the implants was established using a portable device Osstell (Switzerland) in different periods of observation. The analysis of changes in ISQ indicators in the process of osseointegration showed that the development of a prolonged, subclinical (latently current) low activity of the inflammatory process in soft and bone contact tissues after the installation of dental intraosseous implants contributes to slowing down the completion of the osseointegration process. Risk criteria for the occurrence of the specified complication have been identified.
