Abstract

Studies of rat blood serum confirmed the negative effect of pro-longed alimentary excess fat in combination with dysbiosis and immunosuppression on indicators of non-specific antimicrobial and antioxidant defenses. Modeling of the metabolic syndrome led to the development of hyperglycemia, increased microbial contamination, intensification of systemic inflammation and ac-tivation of lipid peroxidation. Modeling of orthodontic treatment led to an additional decrease in the indices of nonspecific anti-microbial and antioxidant protection and a simultaneous in-crease in the intensity of lipid peroxidation. The use of a thera-peutic prophylactic complex in combination with a course of physiotherapy prevented the increase in serum levels of glucose, malonic dialdehyde, elastase and urease activity, the degree of dysbiosis and also maintained at a high level non-specific pro-tection indicators - catalase activity, antioxidant-prooxidant in-dex and lysozyme activity.
