CLINICAL ASSESSMENT OF DENTAL STATUS OF 7-YEAR-OLD BILA TSERKVA CHILDREN, LIVING IN THE ZONE OF INCREASED ANTHROPOGENIC LOAD IN THE PROCESS OF CARRYING OUT MED-ICAL AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES

Relevance. Bila Tserkva is the largest industrial center in the Kiev region. It has been established that the largest leading sector of the city's economy is the chemical and petrochemical industry, namely the rubber and tire indus-try, which is one of the most dangerous industries in terms of the risk of environmental pollution. The in-creased anthropogenic load has an adverse effect on the dental health of children.
The aim of this work was to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of the developed treatment-and-prophylactic com-plex in 7-year-old children living in the zone of increased anthropogenic load.
Materials and methods. The following clinical indicators were used in this work: caries-prophylactic efficacy, cal-culated by the growth of the DMFT index over 2 years of observation, assessment of the state of parodontal tissues in the dynamics of observation, determined using the in-dices o bleeding (Müllemann) – intensity of inflammation and PMA % – prevalence of inflammation. The hygienic state of the oral cavity was determined in dynamics using the Silness-Loe and Stallard indices.
Findings. The treatment and prophylactic complex for children living in the zone of anthropogenic pollution by petrochemical production in Belaya Tserkov, developed taking into account the identified genetic disorders of amelogenesis, inflammatory reactions, detoxification and collagen formation, made it possible to slow down the carious process, normalize periodontal and hygienic indi-ces at all stages of treatment.
